MyFM CNY Carnival @ Low Yat Plaza

My sis has been pestering me to go with her to the above mentioned events om 18th of Jan 2009 for the whole week... I was reluctant to go as I am super lazy to leave the house, if it wasn't that my CNY shopping is not done, I won't go.
So my sis, bro and I went to meet Christine *a primary school friend whom I haven't met for year* in the LRT. We reached Times Square around 11am and had lunch at Bar B Q Plaza. I bought 1 dress and 1 top at Nichii after lunch. After that we head to Sg Wang Plaza and did another round of shopping. There I bought 1 skirt and leggings. My sis keeps on saying it's time to go to Low Yat when Christine and I was trying on clothes.
Christine stay in Sg Wang to meet her other friends while we go to Low Yat. There's so much people there. All the myfm DJ's, Astro TV Host,Astro Star Search Finalist and Beauty Pageant's contestants were there. There were so much freebies given out. *Pictures is to come later*
My sis went hyper when ASQ 2008 winner Gan Wan Chean appeared. We took so much pictures and so much prizes that night.

*I won't be here starting 23rd of Jan to 2nd Feb 2009 as I'll be celebrating CNY in my home town*

Of Excitement, Family and Celebration...

In exactly 1 week from today, I'll be heading back to my home town in Kedah... Gosh, the excitement is just so overwhelming. I can't wait to pack, I can't wait to set my feet in the old house, I can't wait to meet my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews. We will talk and laugh and do crazy things together. I remember there's a year where we had pop pop war... It's so funny. Some even got attacked in the toilet... It's so fun to do all the crazy things with them. I feel so excited I don't even know how to put it in words hahaha.
I guess I'll just have to slowly anticipate for next Thursday to come...

On a second note:
I heard that Saewei is going to give birth today.
I wish you a smooth delivery, and may you give birth to a fei fei bak bak baby...

Summarising the 1st Week of 2009...

Okie... Nothing exciting happened during the countdown as I was just sitting in frotn of the tv with a copy of CLEO...

Thursday, 1st Jan 2009,
Went to Times Square to meet with friend I've known from NS with my sis.
After hanging out with them for awhile, my sis and I went on our own to do some Chinese New Year shopping. I only got 1 top from FOS, my sis and I decided to get something for my parents and bro. So we bought 1 shirt each for dad and mom and a pants for the bro...

Friday, 2nd Jan 2009,
As usual, it's workday...

Saturday, 3rd Jan 2009,
Went to church, then head to Sg. Wang Plaza with sis and bro for S.H.E meet the fans session.
My sis have been looking forward to this day forever. It's super tiring to stand there, squeezing with 9887793214527 people *imagine canned sardine*...

Sunday, 4th Jan 2009,
Help my dad do some reparing and painting for the lorry which will be sent to Puspakom examination...

I'm sure your 1st week of 2009 is much better and more exciting than mine....

On second note, Chinese New Year is 19 days away and my journey back to hometown starts in 16 days... Excited~

2009's Resolution...

I've never have the habit of making new year resolution *as I can never keep them*. This year however, I decided to make some.So here goes the list of resolution:

• eat healthy *keep fast food at a minimum level... bye McD*.
• lose weight .
  
• keep my room less like a world war II's aftermath.
• spend more time with my family.
• buy less heels/shoes *keep it to less than 3 pairs*.
  
• buy less earrings *I have over 40 pairs*.
• sleep earlier .
  
• stay in touch with family and friends as much as possible.
• be a better daughter in 2009 than I was back in 2008.
  

And most importantly...

• devote myself more in church affair.
• read more Bible.
  

There you have it, my 2009's resolution...
By the way... Chinese New Year is 23 days away, and my journey back to my home town begins in 20 days...

To My Brother...

Dear Matthew,

Although you might not be reading this, I just want you to say that I'm glad God gave you to be my brother and that you are part of my family, I wouldn't want anybody else as my brother. I want to tell you that I'm sorry we fought so badly the other day. I do realise that I really am a pain in the a** sometimes. I know I'm not a good sister. I know that sometimes we don't see eye to eye on things. Sometimes I say things which doesn't sound good to the ears and I don't mean it at all. I really want to apologize for all the wrong I did you.
We are brought up as typical Asian who doesn't express our feelings very well. We never say 'I Love You' to each other, but I want to tell you that although I don't say it out loud, I really really do love you and Joanna. I pray and I hope with all my heart that we won't grow apart from each other. I hope all three of us will stay together for our days to come and until the end of our days.

Yan Wan Chean...

I went to ShoutOut Gathering on Saturday, but the post on it have to wait until I get my hands on the pictures...

So on Sunday I went to Ikano to see Yan Wan Chean the Astro Star Quest 2008 winner.
My sister is fanatic over her. She got so crazy and bought 2 copies of her EP.

She is cute in reality and very polite too. During her press release, she sold 400 copies in 1 hour. She made a promise that if her EP can sell more than 5000 copies she will wear heels...

It's My Day...

This is something I never expect to get... lol..
Since 1 week ago MyFm had this SHE Meet The Fans Session game going on. All you have to do is call in answer a simple question about SHE then create a radio programme for FM SHE. So my sis keep asking me to help her call in as her Mandarin is bad *very bad*. I didn't really bother about calling at first because I thought that SHE is the TOP band in Asia, thousands of people are gonna call in at the same time. What are the chances? Anyway, my sis and I tried calling at 11 something today (we work at different place and communicate through MSN). but we couldn't get through. We called so many times.

Then. again at around 2pm my sis said that the SHE game is on again and it's the last run already, so I just dialled the number. It was busy during the first few attempts and I told myself that if it's engaged again this time, I'm just gonna hang up and moe on with my life...
Then it happened, Vivian, the MyFm DJ picked up the phone. My heart was beating like 795118962145 times per second. I was so nervous when I say the station's slogan and answering the question. The worst part is when I have to say what is the programme that I'm gonna do for FM SHE, my brain was totally blank (ans I was doing all that while msn-ing my sis) Then I said something like 'I'll do a programme where it features beauty and good for the environment'. And I got the 4 VIP tickets... My sis is waaaaaaay more excited than I am..lol
So I have 4 VIP ticket and I only need 3 for my sis, my bro and myself.
There's 1 more extra ticket...
