To My Brother...

Dear Matthew,

Although you might not be reading this, I just want you to say that I'm glad God gave you to be my brother and that you are part of my family, I wouldn't want anybody else as my brother. I want to tell you that I'm sorry we fought so badly the other day. I do realise that I really am a pain in the a** sometimes. I know I'm not a good sister. I know that sometimes we don't see eye to eye on things. Sometimes I say things which doesn't sound good to the ears and I don't mean it at all. I really want to apologize for all the wrong I did you.
We are brought up as typical Asian who doesn't express our feelings very well. We never say 'I Love You' to each other, but I want to tell you that although I don't say it out loud, I really really do love you and Joanna. I pray and I hope with all my heart that we won't grow apart from each other. I hope all three of us will stay together for our days to come and until the end of our days.

Love,
Anna.

Yan Wan Chean...

I went to ShoutOut Gathering on Saturday, but the post on it have to wait until I get my hands on the pictures...

So on Sunday I went to Ikano to see Yan Wan Chean the Astro Star Quest 2008 winner.
My sister is fanatic over her. She got so crazy and bought 2 copies of her EP.

She is cute in reality and very polite too. During her press release, she sold 400 copies in 1 hour. She made a promise that if her EP can sell more than 5000 copies she will wear heels...

It's My Day...

This is something I never expect to get... lol..
Since 1 week ago MyFm had this SHE Meet The Fans Session game going on. All you have to do is call in answer a simple question about SHE then create a radio programme for FM SHE. So my sis keep asking me to help her call in as her Mandarin is bad *very bad*. I didn't really bother about calling at first because I thought that SHE is the TOP band in Asia, thousands of people are gonna call in at the same time. What are the chances? Anyway, my sis and I tried calling at 11 something today (we work at different place and communicate through MSN). but we couldn't get through. We called so many times.

*picture from google.com*
Then. again at around 2pm my sis said that the SHE game is on again and it's the last run already, so I just dialled the number. It was busy during the first few attempts and I told myself that if it's engaged again this time, I'm just gonna hang up and moe on with my life...
Then it happened, Vivian, the MyFm DJ picked up the phone. My heart was beating like 795118962145 times per second. I was so nervous when I say the station's slogan and answering the question. The worst part is when I have to say what is the programme that I'm gonna do for FM SHE, my brain was totally blank (ans I was doing all that while msn-ing my sis) Then I said something like 'I'll do a programme where it features beauty and good for the environment'. And I got the 4 VIP tickets... My sis is waaaaaaay more excited than I am..lol
So I have 4 VIP ticket and I only need 3 for my sis, my bro and myself.
There's 1 more extra ticket...

Set-up For PC Fair KL...

Although it was a public holiday for Selangor yesterday, I am still working. My colleague drove me to LRT Station in Kelana Jaya then we took the LRT to avoid traffic congestion and the expensive parking fee. I went all the way to KL Convention Centre to do set up for Samsung Booth, which is located in Hall 5. It was a long walk from the KLCC Station all the way to the Convention Centre and my goodness, KLCC is madly packed thanks to the Public Holiday...
We reached the Convention Centre around 12pm and we sat there waiting for the transporter to send the showcases and the metal thing that we use to build the area... We waited until 1:30 pm and no one came, so we walk all the way to food court to have lunch. Every single stall was packed with people and there's no place to land our butt. We waited for quite a while before we finally get a place to sit.

After lunch, the transporter came with our long awaited goods. So we start the work. You have no idea how hot it is in the Convention Centre. The organiser was to stingy to pay for the air con on the set-up day. Anyway, the workers started to build everything and we got things done at around 9pm. I was dead tired that I didn't even talk to my colleague on the way back to Kelana Jaya. I reach home around 10pm. I had my dinner at 10:30pm...
*I'll show some mess before we started our work*

These are the showcases that are used to display the MP3,
cameras and Samsung LCD.

The boxes there are free gifts including towels, SD Cards,
mini tripods and stuff.

For those who wants to find great bargain for gadgets like MP3, Cameras and Computer related stuff, please head on to KL Convention Centre this weekend.
PC Fair KL is from this Friday to Sunday 12-14 December 2008.
*Thank God I'm having Monday off as replacement for yesterday's holiday*
Wheeee~~~

Long Tiring Weekend...

Since I took last Friday off, I had four days of holidays. On Friday I went out with my high school besties... I went to meet Jia Ni and Li Chien in Jia Ni's house. Li Chien wants us to do some autograph thing. So we left for 1U at 10:15am. It was a little early when we reach 1U. We decided to walk around before proceeding to Neway. In Neway, we all the crazy things, sing all the crazy songs. It made me miss my high school years alot. We left Neway at 2:30pm, then we begin to shop around. I went to collect my 988 Chinese New Year DVD *YAY after 2 weeks of long torturing wait*. First thing I did when I reach home was to pop the "waited forever" Chinese New Year DVD in the player and blast the stereo. I bet the neighbours must have thought that I've gone crazy. Ok. Enough about Friday.

Saturday,
Saturday went on as normal. Got up, then do cleaning around the house. Church service at 3:00pm. My aunt came by with 2 of my cousin brother, their girlfriend and the girlfriend's sis. She is a really cute girl. Later we went to dinner around 8.00pm at this new food court in PJ19. We left the place at 10:00 plus, then we went our separate ways. Got back home, nothing much to do, so I lazed in front of the tv with my family. I stayed up watching The Mummy Returns with my brother until 2.30am...

Sunday,
Got up late on Sunday. Mom say she wanna go Masjid India, so all of us went by LRT. Reach there around 2-3pm. Walked around, went to Mydin. My mom bought school uniform and some shirts for my brother. All I got my eyes on are a piece of skirt. After we left Mydin, we went to another mall. It's called Semua House I think. Nothing much in that mall. So we went and hunt for food instead. Somehow, we ended up in a place called Station Kopitiam. Gosh, the service is bad, the food is not good and all you can't imagine how sweet the drinks are. Please, for your own good, don't go there.
It was a tiring day with all the walking. We got home around 7:00pm *just in time for me to catch my drama...haha* Around 8:00pm, my sister said she wanna go pasar malam. Since no one else wanna go, I went with her. I bought a new bag and a new shirt. We only spent less than an hour at pasar malam. My parents went out along with my brother and came home with a bad news. My cousin bro *on my mom's side* was badly burnt by hot soup and was admited in to the hospital. He was badly injured around his abdomen, thigh, palms and also his private. He is only 12.

Monday,
My family and I went to visit my cousin in the hospital. It broke my heart to see him lying in the bed. He looked fragile and vulnerable. He keeps crying, I guess it's too much pain for a 12 years old kid. He cannot wear clothes, so he is covered in layers of cloth. The doctor apply lot's of medication on him. We left the hospital and went to aunt's house. My mom and my aunt chatted for a while then we left.
My dad made a turn to Leisure Mall afterward. My sister got the MyFm Chinese New Year DVD from Speedy. We just went in for about half and hour. My sis and and was left in BUM while my parents and brother went to hunt for food. We ended up in Sifu Wan Tan Mee. I had the Char Siew Rice. It was served in a bowl with some vegetables. It instantly reminded me of the one shown in Stephen Chow's God Of Cookery... The Char Siew Rice is very very very tasty. I can recall clearly the taste and aroma of it as I'm typing this.

We got home around 7:30pm and again, the MyFm Chinese New Year album went blasting on the DVD player...
I, again stayed up until 1am although I gotta work today...

On a side note...
♥Chinese New Year is 47 days away♥

Countdown...

*I know it's totally too early to be talking about Chinese New Year, but I just can't help it*
The shop attendant in Rock Corner 1U says that my Chinese New Year DVD is only going to arrive next month. That is totally a mood killer. I've been waiting forever for the album to be release, I went through the trouble to go and pre-order it, wait for it to be officially in the market and now the shop attendant is saying I have to wait until next month... :(
Anyway... Chinese New Year is 62 days away from today... and yes I am counting down every day of it. Good news is I am going to celebrate Chinese New Year in Kedah and my 2nd uncle (ku jiong) decided to be baptised finally, Thank God. I guess the baptising ceremony will be held during the 3rd day of Chinese New Year. I really can't wait for Chinese New Year to finally be here...
62 DAYS TO GO

The L Word...

My sis bought The L Word DVD last Saturday. I've wanted to watch this drama since I first heard of it. It's not a new show as season 6 is coming out next year. Can't believe I'm only starting now... The drama revolves around a group of friend who are gay. It's about how they go through their live. The drama is good although it's kinda boring at some parts... I finished watching the whole Season 1 in 2 days. For those of you who are still looking for a nice drama to watch I'll recommend this, but don't watch it around kids as they have uncut sex scenes.

The casts of L Word season 1

She is my favourite character in the show Shane McCutcheon, played by Kate Moennig.

*another side of Kate Moennig*
I so am going to finish all 5 seasons before the 6th come out.
*in the meantime, shopping for CNY is the main priority*

Bigger eye...

I've always wanted bigger eye. Don't get me wrong, I love my Chinese/Asian eyes. Yesterday, my wish came true but NOT the way I wanted. Instead I got swollen eye. My left eye was swollen and I look like crap *no pictures although my sis keep pestering me for it*. So I took a day off yesterday and went to see a doctor. The doctor said it could be allergy. He gave me 4 pills only *and 1 eye drop*. 1 tablet per day for 4 days and that's it. It cost me RM 25 for that but who cares since it's claimable hahaha....

*my eye looked like that but of course she's much cuter*
**pic. from google.com*

Guess what I did the whole of yesterday??? I slept the afternoon and evening away. I don't know if it's the medicine of if it's just me... I had my lunch at 6pm then dinner at 9.30pm. My mama said I got my time all topsy-turvy...lol

Something is kinda wrong with me these few days. I keep searching for food. I think it's PMS. Gotta control my urge for more and more food...CNY is on it's way and I have clothes to shop for...haha

Capalang in one post....

Ok.. First my washing machine decided to fail on me... So I have to do all the laundry manually. Thank God I'm not people who pile the laundry before washing them or else I might have died doing laundry.
Laundry aside....

Yesterday I went to 1U with my siblings. Main intention is to go get new clothes (read: CNY clothes). Somehow, none caught our eyes. So we went to Coffee Bean to chill. We actually wanted to hang out in Starbucks but it was so crowded.

We went walking around and almost got lost in 1U... Then I went to my favourite place in 1U *2nd favorite actually, 1st is Neway* Pay Less Books.... and I got myself... THIS>>>>
I've always wanted to get this book and I finally got it and it only cost RM 15.00.
Time to sell off some old books to get some new books ^_^v

Randomness...

*I actually wanted to blog in Chinese but due to my laziness to type in 'pin yin', I decided to do it in English instead*

I find myself just wanting to blog so much lately. Problem is I don't have anything interesting to blog about. My parents went outstation for business trip again. I pray that they have a save trip and everything goes well for them. Looks like it's just my siblings and I this weekend *so I get to play head of family again hahaha* and I gotta cook this weekend. Every single time I ask my sis what she wants me to cook for the weekend, she'll forever answer 'Pan Mee for Saturday and Spaghetti for Sunday'. Standard answer lol.

I'm really glad I don't feel as bad as yesterday. Thanks for your concern friends. I shall be fine in no time.

Time to go buy the ingredients after work...LOL

Random Ranting...

I felt kinda unhappy recently. Can't really point it out though. I've got so much to say and I need somebody to share it with. Unfortunately, I still couldn't find a person I trust with all my problems.
Sometimes, I wish I could really break free and just live my life my own way instead of living in an image I potray... It's really stressful to live on standards set by people. Why can't I lead my life my own way at my own pace??? After all it's my life, right?

Dear God, help me be happy please, Thank You

I'm Pregnant...

Not actually pregnant, but I've dreamt of being pregnant. In fact I've dreamt about it 3 times.
I don't know what it means, so I googled it up. Some of the sites said that I could be expecting a baby, some said that it's the anxiety after the intercourse that causes it. But that's all for sexually active females, and it has nothing to do with me.
But there's this site which said that it's a sign of archetypal transition into a new self-awareness *whatever that means*. Although I do look forward to become a mom somewhere in the future, I am sure I have no intention to be pregnant at the moment.
Anyway, anyhow, I know God will arrange everything for me...

*I think pregnancy is a great process of life*

月光手札... Moonlight Handbook...

青春是窗边那份月光手札 (youth is like a moonlight handbook by the window)
遇见你 之前纸页 无暇 (before meeting you, pages of the handbook is clean)
曾经的夜里 你会点灯开始写她(those nights where you use to light a fire and write about her)
用世上 最轻最温柔的笔画(using the softest, most beautiful strokes of brush))
你不爱了吧 所以渐渐的将笔搁下(you no longer love, slowly you put down the pen/brush)
只剩我一个人傻傻 在月光下静静翻阅那些话(I'm left alone under the moonlight reading the handbook sillyly)
爱不爱我你都懒得回答(心为了谁而落发 )(you are not bothered to answer me if you still love me)(heart broken for who)
原来我付出的年华(all the sacrifices that I made)
只换到你的潇洒(怎麽做才叫放下)(only to be paid by your carefree attitude) ( what should I do to let go)
我的愿望奢侈吗 就算只是一小束花 ( is my dream too much even if it's just a litlle bouquet of flowers)
爱不爱我你都懒得回
(心早已为你落发 )(you are not bothered to answer me if you still love me)(my heart is broken for you)
我的眼泪你也慢慢别过头不再去擦 (my tears, you slowly turned away, not bothered to wipe then off anymore)

(一地的无尽挣扎)(an endless self conflict)
我是一把无奈的雪花 漫步在你给的炎夏( I am a helpless snowflake, under the heat of summer)

深情像无须灌溉那盆假花 (passion, like plastic flowers which doesn't need watering)
所以你 远远忽略了也 不怕( so you are not afraid to neglect it)
没有爱了吧 所以你渐渐不再看她( no more love, so you don't at it anymore)
只剩我褪色的枝枒 在月光下没有人可以说话(I'm a flower which lost it colours, under the moonlight, no one to talk to)

我是那份悲伤的手札 只为等你写几句话( I'm the pathetic handbook., longing for you to write something...)

This is my latest song obssession, a song from S.H.E's new album. The translation is done by me, kinda off course at some parts, just trying to make it sound nicer.

Singing Holiday Tunes....

Holidays are fun... During the Raya holiday a few days ago, my aunts came from Kedah and Johor. So, aunts = female = shopping... My 1st day of Raya holiday is spent shopping with my aunts... The day before I slept at 2.30am and was waken up at 8am by my mum. She said we'll go meet up with my aunts at 'Niu Zhe Xui' NZX.
So I thought I'll just be awhile then we'll be back home, without thinking twice I done on my 3 inch heels as it was there and I'm lazy to go dig another pair of shoe... Oh boy I was so wrong.
After NZX they went to Ikea. Thank God my dad decided to go to McD instead so my sis and 2 little cousins and I tagged along. After makan, back to Ikea again. 1 hour later, all of them came out and went to McD... So my sis and I decided to hit The Curve instead. My youngest Aunt came with us as she's really a shopping freak *hope she don't read this lol* Not enough with NZX, Ikea and The Curve, they decided to head to 1 Utama... Then, we had dinner at Ming Tien at 11.30PM...

Next day, I got up at 8am again... Boy it was tiring. But this is something I'm not gonna miss.
It's a K session planned 1 week before hand by Wendy and I. I left home at 10 something and took my own sweet time walking around The Curve *again*. 10 minutes before 11 I went to RedBox and waited for the rest... Most that came are Shouters. Since there's 11 of us, we decided to take the VIP room instead. We only have to add RM 40 to our total bill and we get an extra hour+ private toilet+extra mic... After we divide the bill, it came less than RM 30 per person...
Okie..Enough of crapping... Here are some pictures I stole from Wendy's...

Me and Wendy dear...

Top L-R: Aaron, WaiSeng, David, Andrew, Joshua
Bottom L-R: William, Me, Wendy, Hugo, Daniel, Ricky

I somehow think this picture is weird and funny...

You can see 1 fella busy digging nose here..lol..

From a proper SINGING session, it turned into SHOUTING session...
There's even a 'yam seng' session included...
Possibilities are endless with these people...
Hope to have another K session like this soon.

*on a side note, I lost my voice after the K session*

Muhibah???

Something New...

I went to One U with my siblings yesterday. We actually wanted to catch 'Money No Enough II' but it turned out that all the seats are taken at BOTH the cinema in One U. So instead of watching a movie, we decided to walk around... My brother went to Body Glove to get a new shirt while I was kepoh-ing in one corner.
Then I saw a hair saloon across the Body Glove shop and decided to check it out... The saloon is called Monsoon-id. It's my first time there. I heard that this saloon is quite famous. When I walked into the saloon I saw a few familiar stylists that I always saw on TV. After about 5 minutes of enquiring we (my sis and I) decided to get a hair cut. All in all it takes about 45 minutes and only costs RM 38 inclusive of cut, wash and blow. The service is really good too.
Now I got my self a new haircut and I'm loving it...
After the hair cut and all we decided to to stop at McD for a bite. We saw this gay couple sitting next to us. And the next thing we know, one of the gay decided to snap a picture of my bro with his handphone!!! We stared at him and he acted as if nothing happened and just walked away with his gay partner... I was totally in WTF mode...
To sum it up, it was a great weekend, I got new hair cut and my bro got snapped by gays... ^_^!!!

What's more important to you??? II

I posted a 'psychology test' in my previous post. The test will tell you what's more important to you based on how you rank you fingers from your favourite to least favourite.

The result of the test:
thumb - family
index finger -career
middle finger - yourself
ring finger - your boy/girlfriend
little finger - friends

There you have it... What each finger represents and what's more important to you...
So is it close or a total miss???

Until next time
Anna♥

What's more important to you???

This is a 'psychology test' I heard from my sis about a year ago...
So here it goes...

1 st, Lift up your left hand.
Look at your each of your fingers.
Arrange your finger from favourite to least favourite...
For example :- little finger, index finger, thumb, ring finger followed by middle finger...

The result of this test is to show what's more important to you between your friends, family, career, yourself and your boy/girlfriend...

Please tell me how you arrange yours in my comment box ^_^

♥ results will be out on the next post post ♥

De-stress...

Okie. Good news is finally coming my way... A is going home. She said she misses her home and she misses her mom. I totally doubt that. She can come to KL for a month for a holiday, stay with her friends, not bothered to even call us up and now after just barely a week she says she misses her mom and her house.. AS IF...
She is totally bringing problem to my sis. My sis introduced A to her boss, after working for a few days she tell the boss she's quiting. I was really furious when I found out. I don't even wanna talk to her as I was afraid I will say something that doesn't sound nice to the ears. Also, I don't wanna destroy my dad and his sibling's relationship.
Oh, did I mention I managed to unmask her??? I don't even have to do anything at all.. She unmasked her self. Being in KL for less than 3 days and she already lie to my parents. She even expect me to lie for her... Sorry babe, I'm not that dumb.
The 2nd she came, she's behaving like a total angel. Washed all the clothes and hang all of them. Two days later came the 180 degree turn. She won't even move one hair when she see my mom and I folding the clothes (mind you, her clothes also there). I won't mind folding a few extra shirts and all but don't you think she should at least help??? After all, my mum is not her maid or anything.
Ok.. It's all gonna end by this weekend. I shall have my life back by then...
Wish me luck people...

Just A Little Ranting...

*warning: major long post of ranting ahead*

My parents went to Penang on Monday morning, then they decided to make a turn to Kedah, where my hometown is. I'm totally fine fine with it as I'm not a 3 years old kiddo and I am more than capable to take care of my siblings and myself. Some how, they decided to surprise me. I received a call saying this cousin of mine (let's call her A) on my father's side whom I don't really like is coming. Just when I thought 'Oh great, what could be worse', another bomb hit me. A is coming to work in KL and staying with me...
WHAT THE HELL!!!
I wouldn't mind if she's not those fakers who pretended to be all good and faultless in front of the adults. I have not been able to bring myself to talk to her since young. Yes, the occasional "catch-up" talk maybe but never on a personal topic. All my life, my parents like to compare me to her, always saying how good she is, how obedient she is, how good she's treating the elders. Sometimes, I just feel like telling them to open their eyes and see for themselves her pretentious attitude and her faked "oh-I'm-so-good-and-innocent behaviour . Not long ago during my uncle's funeral, we were suppose to take turn to guard the 'donation box' but NO, she'd rather go around boot-licking the adults than doing what she's supposed to do. My sis, Doreen (my cousin bro's gf) and myself were sitting there guarding the 'donation box' for hours. She guarded the box for less than 30 mins and she started complaining to the adults that we left her alone to guard the box and she kept sending the younger cousins to call us to get back to the box... Who wouldn't be pissed off??? I didn't wanna quarrel with her on that day so I just let it go.
Alright back to August 5th 2008...
My parents and A reached my house at 10pm. I went to open the gate. Helped with unloading the bags and all. Once I stepped into the house my dad starts to nag and say I never listen to him, didn't do what he told me to. bla bla bla.
First of all, yes, I was on leave yesterday but not for fun, my backbone is killing me thanks to the the 'monthly visit from Aunt Red'. How on earth you expect me to do all the house chores alone??? My sis was working, bro at school... Second, It's MY place, MY room, why should I change MY way of living just because someone I don't really please moved in???
My dad told me to respect her. Yes, she's a year, NO a few months older than me, so what??? I'll give her my respect if she's not such a faker in the first place...
One more thing that really pissed me off is my dad. I got 5 free movie pass from my colleague for the movie 'Meet Dave', I planned to go with my parents and siblings. Frankly speaking, ever since I moved to KL, I've never once step into the cinema with my parents. And every time I suggest that we go to a movie together he'll say keep the money for better use... All I want is for the 5 of us to spend some time together, is that too much to ask for??? When I told him that I have 5 free movie pass, he told me to bring A along and sell the extra ticket... I almost lost control and talked back to my dad...
I'm not a person who can fake my feelings, I show what I feel. I tried to talk to her, but I just seem to get the word out. I just couldn't stand it when she flash her fake smile...
I will try my best to be good to her as I don't want my parents to feel bad. I shall prove myself to then that she's not better than me. I will make sure I unmask her...

*sorry for putting you guys through my ranting*

ShoutOut Open Day II

This is a long overdue post I owe to Lasker and Elise (link only works after 8/8/08). Below is the screen shots and some explanations from ShoutOut Open Day II...
Oops, these feature is only available after 8th of August 2008, after the big move from penangpenang.com to ShoutOutLounge.com

Clean and nice 'unpolluted' ShoutOut carpet...

Shouters begin to spam like there's no tomorrow...haha

*Ok... I lost the 1st test Screen Shots so I'll go with the 2nd one. The 1st test will be explained later...
This module is where you can customise your Shout Box according to your liking...
On the left if the directory of 'what is where', so if you don't know what background colour is, you can refer to the directory...
After you are done playing with the colours, just click 'continue' to view your Shout box. If you are not satisfied, you can just do some touch up. If you are satisfied, just name your design, the name of blog where this Shout box is gonna be, and the url and you are good to go...

By the way, if you can see, the 'Alert Colour' function is to notify you when other Shouters call your name...

On the right, you can see 'Edit My ShoutOut',

This is what you see after clicking 'Edit My ShoutOut'
You can now save multiple colour settings for multiple blogs under the same profile...

This screen shots is taken after customizing and adding the test version of SO to my blog.
Every single colour on this Shout box has been customise. The purple line on the right of the ShoutBox is the 'Alert'. The purple line will appear when your name is called... Only you can see the alert when your name is called. Now you won't messages calling for you :)

*Sorry for the long overdue post Lasker and Elise...
